Thursday!

I am super stoked about this so I was in an Repo kind of mood!

Repo! The Genetic Opera (2008) : In the year 2056, the not so distant future, an epidemic of organ failures devastates the planet. Out of the tragedy, a savior emerges: GeneCo, a biotech company that offers organ transplants, for a price. Those who miss their payments are scheduled for repossession and hunted by villainous Repo Men. In a world where surgery addicts are hooked on painkilling drugs and murder is sanctioned by law, a sheltered young girl searches for the cure to her own rare disease as well as information about her family's mysterious history. After being sucked into the haunting world of GeneCo, she is unable to turn back, as all of her questions will be answered at the wildly anticipated spectacular event: The Genetic Opera.

Sweeney Todd :The Demon Barber of Fleet Street (2007) : In the Victorian London, the barber Benjamin Barker is married to the gorgeous Lucy and they have a lovely child, Johanna. The beauty of Lucy attracts the attention of the corrupt Judge Turpin, who falsely accuses the barber of a crime that he did not commit and abuses Lucy later after gaining custody of her. After fifteen years in exile, Benjamin returns to London under the new identity of Sweeney Todd, seeking revenge against Turpin. He meets the widow Mrs. Lovett who is the owner of a meat pie shop who tells him that Lucy committed suicide with arsenic many years ago, and Turpin assigned himself tutor of Johanna. He opens a barber shop above her store, initiating a crime rampage against those who made him suffer and lose his beloved family.

The Rocky Horror Picture Show (1975) : It's the weird and wonderful as newly engaged couple Brad and Janet encounter a problem when they car halts in the rain. They both look for contact only to find themselves at the castle of Dr. Frank-N-Furter a transvestite. A place to stay is offered, but will Brad and Janet want to remain there? Especially when a large group of Transylvanians dance to the 'Time Warp', Dr. Frank-N-Furter builds his own man and a whole host of participation for the audience to enjoy.

I thought the music was lacking in Repo. The songs just didn't seem to have any balls.

I absolutely hated Sweeney Todd. I mean 100%. I saw it with a couple of other people and asked anyone if they wanted the DVD after we watched it and the just laughed at me.

I actually love the music in Repo, I wasn't so sure that I would but it turns out I do. And honestly when it comes to Sweeney Todd I don't think it is for everyone but I find it enjoyable and I actually like it more than the original.

Well, Giles can sing, can't deny that. But when I think Rock Opera, I guess I was thinking it would be more metal.
