Well we decided to hit up Toy "R" Us because I am on the hunt for something and we ended up picking up one of the Star Wars Fighter Pods blind package figure. The Mister and I pretty much love all thing Star War and we also love blind boxes/packages as well. They cost $3.99 and you get one pod and two little figures, I don't really care about the pods so much. The Mister ended up with 2 of the best character so it was a good choice on his part. This isn't something I wanna spend a million dollars on trying to get them all but it's one of those things that it will be fun to pick up here and there.
While at Toy "R" Us I also noticed that the second series of The Trash Packs were out. They stopped carrying the first series last November and I wasn't sure if they were going to be carrying them anymore since they had filled the spot with something else. But I was excited to see that in fact they do have them again but now when you but the singles they come in little eggs instead of trash cans, when you buy the packs they come in little orange trash cans though. I totally have an addiction to blind boxes!
This is one of those stupid things I am on the hunt for. If your read my blog regularly you know that I am a huge toy collector and I am a huge comic book nerd as well. So I heard a little while ago that Sonic's had Justice League tots in their kids meals. I kept meaning to go and pick them up but put it off because of our car trouble and the fact I don't really eat there, it just wasn't the most important thing to do. Finally I was over that way getting my car worked on and decided to see if they had any and they only had one which was the Clark Kent tot. I will be totally honest, when it comes to DC there are a few characters I love, a few that I like and the rest I can put up with except for Superman. I seriously hate Superman, he is one of those character that is over played, I can not figure out why people love him and he annoys me to death in all forms (cartoons, comic books, tv shows and movies). I have never liked him and that will never change. I wanted all the tots just to have a complete collection but if I had to be missing a few Superman would be one of the ones I could careless if I got or not. I will admit that I think the Clark Kent one is cute and I am a little glad I got him but I still don't like Superman. Plus they didn't end up charging me for him so it's not like I wasted money on him and I got a pack of Justice League tot cards.
Back to my trip to Toy "R" Us, I am on the hunt for the Monster High Werecat Twins which is suppose to be Toys "R" Us exclusive so that was my main reason for stopping at the toy store. While looking for them I found a few dolls that looked like someone was trying to hide but didn't do the best job. One of them was Operetta which if I were still on the hunt for her would have been a great surprise but I don't need her anymore. I also found Nefera de Nile which I wasn't sure I wanted so I didn't end up picking her up and now I am kinda thinking I should have grabbed her and returned her if I didn't end up wanting her but I guess that is my lost. I know that I need to be saving money and not spending it but I just can't help myself when it comes to makeup and Monster High dolls. I did end up picking up Toralei. I seen her one other time and didn't get her because I hate her character on the Webisodes but she is such a cute dolls that I just couldn't say no and I am happy to add her to my Monster High family even if her character is an ass.
