They Live. Another great movie from the 80's with a great writer/director John Carpenter. Also you have Roddy Piper, awesome. This movie is about Nada, a down-on-his-luck construction worker who ends up discovering a pair of special sunglasses. When wearing them he is able to see the world as it really is people being bombarded by media and government with messages like "OBEY", "CONSUME", "CONFORM" and so on. Even worse he is able to see that some normal looking people are in fact ugly aliens in charge of the massive campaign to keep humans subdued. Now Nada must find the rest of the humans that know what's going on and join the fight against the aliens. Such a great movie.
