Review!

Scott Pilgrim vs. The World (2010) : Finally got around to seeing this moving and falling in love with it. It was directed by Edgar Wright and based on the graphic novel series Scott Pilgrim by Bryan Lee O'Malley. Scott Pilgrim (Michael Cera) is a 23-year-old bass guitarist in an up-and-coming rock band who is dating a 17-year-old high school girl named Knives Chau (Ellen Wong) and he is also unemployed, still angry about how things ended with his ex and is living with his gay roommate. Everything is good and rolling along at a nice even tempo until one day Ramona Flowers (Mary Elizabeth Winstead) roller-blades into his dreams and life. Ramona moved to Toronto from New York City to find peace and quiet from her past. No one knows what her past is, but Scott will find out very soon as he tries to make Ramona his new girlfriend. Before Scott can begin dating Ramona, he must prove himself by defeating the league of her seven exes who controls her love life. They will do anything to get rid of and destroy any new boyfriend Ramona may consider. If Scott wants to find true love with Ramona, he must defeat all seven, before the game is over. I seriously loved this movie, it has an amazing cast (especially Jason Schwartzman), an awesome storyline/ plot, great special effects and good music. I can see an older group of people not liking this movie but honestly can't see why it got such bad ratings. I mean seriously if you love video game, comic books and music you have to love this movie.  I love comic book turned movie movies a lot, but that's probably the comic book nerd in me but what can I say I love em. I think everyone should see this movie and give it some love. It is a great movie and I give it a 10.
