The Entity (1981 ; 125 brain eaters) : A horror film supposedly based partially on a true story about a woman tormented by an unseen entity. Directed by Sidney J. Furie and written by Frank deFelitta. It stars Barbara Hershey as Carla Moran, Ron Silver as Dr. Sneiderman, David Labiosa as Billy Moran and Margaret Blye as Cindy. Carla Moran awakens one night to find herself being beaten and raped by an unseen presence. Terrified of what's happening to her, and shunned by friends and family who think she's lost her mind, she seeks help from parapsychologists. The researchers soon discover that evil spiritual force has been drawn to Carla and is responsible for the violent attacks. She's not sure if it will ever stop. There was even a video game make for Atari 2600 in 1983.
