Sick!

I wasn't going to make a post because since yesterday morning I have been so sick and just not in the mood to sit and type. But than I got an idea... Even though I watch horror movies all the time, I have certian horror movies I watch when I'm sick in bed.

Top 10 horror movies I watch when I'm sick!

 1. Rob Zombie's Halloween (2007) and Halloween 2 (2009) : These are two of my guilty pleasure movie. I take some serious shit from the boyfriend for enjoying these. I will admit they are not great movies but for some reason I just like watching them. I am a huge Rob Zombie fan but that doesn't change the fact that these movies aren't all that good. They are pretty much my first choice when I am sick enough to actually have to stay in bed. Horror remakes are usually my last choice of movie enjoyment.

 2. Jennifer's Body (2009) : I love this one, it's a good horror comedy. This is another one of those movies I love to watch especially when I'm sick. I don't think enough people enjoy this movie like they should. Jennifer mysteriously gains an appetite for human blood after a disastrous fire at a local bar. As Needy's male classmates are steadily killed off in gruesome attacks, the young girl must uncover the truth behind her friend's transformation and find a way to stop the bloodthirsty rampage before it reaches her own boyfriend Chip.

 3. Return Of the Living Dead (1985) : Seriously one of the best cheesy horror movies to come out of the 80's. I can quote this movie word for word. When a bumbling pair of employees at a medical supply warehouse accidentally release a deadly gas into the air, the vapors cause the dead to re-animate as they go on a rampage through Louisville, Kentucky seeking their favorite food, brains.

 4. Brain Scan (1994) : The first time I saw this movie I was sick, so it has been one of the go to movies when I'm under the weather. I mean I would watch this movie anytime but I enjoy it the most when I have nothing better to do but lay in bed. A lonely teenage horror-movie fan discovers a mysterious computer game that uses hypnosis to custom-tailor the game into the most terrifying experience imaginable. When he emerges from the hypnotic trance he is horrified to find evidence that the brutal murder depicted in the game actually happened and he's the killer.

 5. The Monster Squad (1987) : This movie is amazing! Young kids form a club that is devoted to monsters, but soon get more than they bargained for when Count Dracula adjourns to Earth, accompanied by Frankenstein's Monster, the Wolfman, the Mummy, and the Gillman. The uglies are in search of a powerful amulet that will grant them power to rule the world. Our heroes - the Monster Squad are the only ones daring to stand in their way.

 6. Trick r' Treat (2008) : Five interwoven stories that occur on the same block, on the same night. A couple finds what happens when they blow a jack o' lantern out before midnight, a high school principal has a secret life as a serial killer, a college virgin might have met the right guy for her, a group of mean teens play a prank that they take too far, and a hermit is visited by a special trick or treater.

 7. Trick or Treat (1986) : Eddie Weinbauer is a typical All-American teenager, at least he was until he fell under the evil spell of Rock Music. Now he's obsessed with his heavy-metal superstar idol, Sammi Curr, who is killed in a hotel fire. Eddie becomes the recipient of the only copy of Curr's unreleased album, which when played backwards sends a message of destruction and as Halloween approaches, Eddie begins to realize this isn't only rock 'n roll... it's life and death and he must draw the line to thwart this mission.

 8. Freddy vs. Jason (2003) : It's been nearly ten years since Freddy Krueger terrorized people in the dreams, and the towns folk want to keep him erased from their memory. Freddy still has one more plan on getting back to Elm Street. He resurrects Jason Voorhees and sends him off to kill. The more bodies which fall to the ground, the stronger in which Freddy becomes. This is until, Freddy realizes that Jason isn't going to step aside easily, and must be taken down himself.

 9. Casper (1995) : Yes this is another guilty pleasure but what can I say I love it plan and simple. Furious that her late father only willed her his gloomy-looking mansion rather than his millions, Carrigan Crittenden is ready to burn the place to the ground when she discovers a map to a treasure hidden in the house. But when she enters the rickety mansion to seek her claim, she is frightened away by a wicked wave of ghosts. Determined to get her hands on this hidden fortune, she hires afterlife therapist Dr. James Harvey to exorcise the ghosts from the mansion. Harvey and his daughter Kat move in, and soon Kat meets Casper, the ghost of a young boy who's "the friendliest ghost you know." But not so friendly are Casper's uncles, Stretch, Fatso and Stinkie who are determined to drive all "fleshies" away. Ultimately, it is up to Harvey and Kat to help the ghosts cross over to the other side.

10. Goosebumps TV Series (1995) : A collection of children's horror stories by R.L. Stine, based on his books. Yes I am 26 and still love the books and watching the series. I can't get enough!
