I haven't done an update in a little while and felt the need to do one. Watching movies hasn't been our main point of entertainment lately. We finally got around to watching season 4 of Dexter that has been on our DVR since it aired. What can I say another amazing season of Dexter. I seriously love this show and with every season it gets better. I can not wait till season 5.

I was really excite to see that there was a Smokin' Aces 2: Assassins' Ball. I loved the first Smokin' aces. I liked this one, the story line was good and I loved the casting especially Vinnie Jones. I will say I liked the first one better but stilled like this one a lot. Walter Weed is an unassuming desk jockey at the FBI when the Bureau uncovers a plot to assassinate him. A team of degenerate, psychotic assassins dispatched by mystery man Hal Leuco to win a huge bounty. They have to kill Walter at 3 am and the FBI is doing everything they can to make sure this doesn't happen. I give this one a 9. (While watching this our apartment building started on fire it was one crazy movie night. It ended up not being too big, everyone was safe and we did get to finish the movie hours later.)

Watched Gamer and it was pretty good for the most part. The story line is pretty good but I really liked the casting. It is a very over the top action movie, I will say I am not a huge fan of the ending though. It reminded me a lot of the remake to Death Race 2000 which I totally love. Set in a future-world where humans can control other humans in mass-scale, multi-player online gaming environments. A star player from a game called "Slayers" looks to regain his independence while taking down the game's mastermind and saving his family. I give this one a 8.5. Check it out!

We watched Whiteout. I liked this one and give it an 8. The story line was alright and the casting was pretty good. It is about a U.S. marshal, the only one assigned to Antarctica, must investigate a murder there within three days before the Antarctic winter begins and everyone leaves. She crosses paths with a U.N. operative also investigating the murder. While trying to find some of suspects she ends up almost being killed by one. Now it is up to them to hunt down the killer and find out the reason for murdering the others and what was taken from and abandon aircraft. Pretty good, def. worth a watch.

Rented Pandorum and watched it. I liked it a lot actually. I love the idea of space horror. I think the story line was really good and entertaining. I also think the casting was pretty good. It is def. a good sci-fi movie that kept my attention. It starts with two astronauts awaken in a hyper-sleep chamber aboard a seemingly abandoned spacecraft. It's pitch black, they are disoriented, and the only sound is a low rumble and creak from the belly of the ship. They can't remember anything: not who they are, what is their mission is or anything. With Lt. Payton staying behind to guide him via radio transmitter, Cpl. Bower ventures deep into the ship and begins to uncover a terrifying reality. They start to remember the mission and what they are doing. They also find they are not alone, there are other people, creatures and they must stop them self's from going crazy. Survival is important and they need to figure out how to stay alive and get out. I give this a 9.

Today's movie quote comes from Kaitlin 'AK-47' Tremor in Smokin' Aces 2:Assassins' Ball: "Gonna make this joke about you shooting your load and then me shooting you, but it wasn't as good as "dismissed."
