Supernatural (2005- present) : This is an American supernatural TV drama series with humorous elements created by Eric Kripke. It was originally releases in 2005 on the The WB and is still part of the CW lineup every Friday, it is in the middle of it's 7th season. It stars Jared Padalecki as Sam Winchester and Jensen Ackles as Dean Winchester, the series follows the brothers as they hunt demons, angels, ghosts and pretty much any other figures of the supernatural you can think of. I have to admit this is one of my favorite TV series, once Buffy The Vampire Slayer ended I couldn't get into Angel all that much so Supernatural was there to take the place of Buffy. Each season is packed with lots of action, great characters and an amazing story line. Many of the episodes are actually based on existing legends, myths, and ghost stories and many of the episodes are either named after movies or rock songs.

  When Sam and Dean Winchester were just kids, their mother was horribly murdered in front of their father by something "supernatural". Their lives were never the same again. After their mother's murder, their father took an interest in the supernatural and the unexplained and raised the boys as hunters with skills to fight back against the unknown and protect the innocent. 22 years later, with Sam and Dean grown up, their father suddenly disappears on a suppose routine supernatural hunt. Sam and Dean search for their father and along the way help anyone with a supernatural problem with the help from their dad's journal that contains most of his knowledge about the supernatural that he had accumulated over his 22 years of none-stop obsessive hunting.
