Saturday Graverites!

Well it is Saturday once again, these weeks just keep flying by. Well today's Saturday Graverite is Ticks aka Infested. I'm pretty sure you can't go wrong with big killer ticks personally. This movie came out in 1993, it was written by Brent V. Friedman and directed by Tony Randel. Not many people like this movie and I can see why but I just can not say no to a movie involving giant bugs created by mans mistakes. This b-movie doesn't have the best cast but it does have Seth Green and Clint Howard which makes up for the lack of great casting. Problem teens in Los Angeles join an inner-city wilderness project in and attempt to get back in touch with life's priorities, led by do-gooders Holly and Charles. When they get to the campsite, they begin having problems adjusting to the wild life, particularly local marijuana growers using herbal steroids to accelerate plant growth, and the mutated ticks that the leaky steroid system has created. I think this movie is pretty great and you should watch it. Just a few things you learn in this movie is when there is a lump moving under your skin in your chest don't shoot it, being stabbed in the knee does little to impede movement and herbal steroids will cause massive mutations in wood ticks.
