Movie Update!
A Nightmare On Elm Street : Finally got around to seeing the remake and what can I say I didn't hate it. The original was one of the first movies that made me fall inlove with horror so I was totally hating the idea of a remake. But it wasn't the worse movie I've seen especially since it is a remake. The casting was pretty good except I wasn't a huge fan of freddy. I really have nothing bad to say nor do I really have anything great to say. Once it is out on DVD I will probley do another update. I give it a 7 for now. Death stalks the dreams of several young adults to claim its revenge on the killing of Freddy Kruger. Chased and chastised by this finger-bladed demon, it is the awakening of old memories and the denials of a past of retribution that spurns this hellish vision of a dreamlike state and turns death into a nightmare reality.
Legion : For what this movie is it's really good. It has a great cast with a good story line. I really enjoy watching movies with a religious themes. This movie def. keeps your attention and has some pretty great effects. An out-of-the-way diner becomes the unlikely battleground for the survival of the human race. When God loses faith in humankind, he sends his legion of angels to bring on the Apocalypse. Humanity's only hope lies in a group of strangers trapped in a desert diner with the Archangel Michael. I give this one a 9.
Repo Men : This is an awesome movie with an amazing cast. I will say that I didn't love the ending but it is what it is. I loved the story line and loved the look the movie had. I def. give this one a 9 if the ending was a little better I'd give it a 10. In the future humans have extended and improved our lives through highly sophisticated and expensive mechanical organs created by a company called "The Union". The dark side of these medical breakthroughs is that if you don't pay your bill, "The Union" sends its highly skilled repo men to take back its property... with no concern for your comfort or survival. Former soldier Remy is one of the best organ repo men in the business. But when he suffers a cardiac failure on the job, he awakens to find himself fitted with the company's top-of-the-line heart-replacement... as well as a hefty debt. But a side effect of the procedure is that his heart's no longer in the job. When he can't make the payments, The Union sends its toughest enforcer, Remy's former partner Jake, to track him down.
