Well we stated watching the After Dark Horrorfest IV movies. We started with The Final: I liked this one, it was def. a good one to start with. This is more of your thriller/torture horror movie. I find this story line interesting, it has elements of other movies but still pretty unique for the most part. I find this one entertaining and visually good. The casting and acting wasn't so bad either. I give this one a 9.5. Dane, an awkward student with suicidal tendencies and a deadly vendetta, who leads a group of outcasts who plot to avenge the years of humiliation they faced from the popular students at Hohn High School. The outcasts turn the tables on the popular students who made sport of them and prepare for a single night that will leave their tormentors scarred for life. They invite them to a costume party, drug them, chain them up and torture them.
The Graves: This one was not the greatest movie I have ever seen nor is it the worst, it was just ok. I will admit when the movie started in a comic book shop and than went to a Calabrese show I got pretty excited being a huge nerd and Calabrese lover. But after that it just kinda went down hill. I though having Tony Todd and Bill Moseley together in a movie would make it so awesome but it was just eh. The story line is interesting but could have been done a bit better. It was your typical people getting attacked by some hill-jacks in the middle of no where with so suspense. I didn't love it or hate it so I give this one a 7. Megan will start a new job at in New York and move away from her sister/best friend. To send her off in style, her and her sister go on a wild, pop culture bender that includes a trip to uncharted Arizona in search of a kitchy roadside attraction. They end up lost and instead Megan and Abby happen on Skull City Mine, a weather-beaten, abandoned mine town converted into a self-guided tour. But Skull City harbors terrible, vexing secrets. It appears to be haunted. Its caretakers are murderous. Victims' souls are ripped from their bodies right before their eyes, and that's only the beginning. When Megan suffers a near mortal wound, Abby must save her sister, but to do so, she must unlock the mystery of Skull City alone.
