MOVIES!

The Fourth Kind: Everyone I asked about this movie said it wasn't so great but I though it was amazing. I like the mix of the real footage and movie scenes. I think the casting was prefect. Def. one of those movies that make you think. I give this one a 10. In 1972, a scale of measurement was established for alien encounters. When a UFO is sighted, it is called an encounter of the first kind. When evidence is collected, it is known as an encounter of the second kind. When contact is made with extraterrestrials, it is the third kind. The next level, abduction, is the fourth kind. Modern-day, Alaska, where-mysteriously since the 1960s-a disproportionate number of the population has been reported missing every year. Despite multiple FBI investigations of the region, the truth has never been discovered. Here in this remote region, psychologist Dr. Abigail Tyler began videotaping sessions with traumatized patients and unwittingly discovered some of the most disturbing evidence of alien abduction ever documented. The Fourth Kind exposes the terrified revelations of multiple witnesses. Their accounts of being visited by alien figures all share disturbingly identical details, the
validity of which is investigated throughout the film.

The Crazies: I was super excited for this remake because I love the original and this looked like one of the few remakes that looked awesome. I loved it. I think they did a great job on this one and a good cast as well. I give this one a 9. As a toxin begins to turn the residents of Ogden Marsh, Iowa into violent psychopaths, sheriff David Dutton tries to make sense of the situation. The sheriff, his wife, and two other unaffected townspeople band together in a fight for survival as the military comes in tho "take care" of the problem.

My Best Friend Is A Vampire: This movie is form 1987 but I had never seen it and just picked it up by random at the store last week. I really liked this one, I love 80's cheese and this one was def. up to par. I give this one a 10, no complaints. In Houston, the teenager Jeremy Capello is a normal middle-class boy, who lives with his beloved parents and has Ralph as his best friend. He has a crush on Darla Blake, but he is shy and does not date her. He works making deliveries for a supermarket and is seduced by his sexy client Nora. While having his first intercourse with her, Jeremy is transformed in a vampire. His friend Ralph is mistakenly chased by two weird vampire hunters, Prof. Leopold McCarthy and his assistant Grimsdyke, that believe he is a creature of the night. Meanwhile, Jeremy learns how to use his new powers with Modoc, and falls definitively in love for Darla.
