
Halloween recipe for today...
Candy Corn Parfait
1 Orange
2 tbsp. Orange Liqueur
3 tbsp. Lemon curd
1/4 c. Whipped cream
1 tbsp. Halloween sprinkles
Peel the orange and pull it apartment make sure to remove the membranes and white pith. Chop into pieces and toss with the orange liqueur in a bowl, set aside. Spoon the lemon curd into a small clear glass in an even layer. Top with a thin layer of whipped cream, than add all our orange pieces. Add a dollop of whipped cream and sprinkles on top. Garnish with a piece of candy corn.
Today's gifts are more of a sideshow... we have the scary clown head, the two-headed snake gummy, some candies and coloring sheets! I love scary clowns and I so love the snake gummy so much that I don't wanna eat it.
So far this October has been very cold and very wet. I'm not liking it at all, I wanna get out and do October things like cheesy Haunted Houses, Cider Mills, and all that good fun stuff.
