October 7th!

Today's Halloween recipe is just a normal fall recipe...

Apple Dapple Cake!

2 c. sugar

1 tbsp. cinnamon

2 tbsp. vanilla

3 eggs

1 1/3 c. cooking oil

3 c. flour

1 tsp. soda

1 tsp. salt

3 c. apples, chopped

1/4 c. apple cider

Mix all ingredients thoroughly, folding in apples last. Pour into a bundt cake pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 45- 55 minutes.

Glaze

1/2 stick butter

1/2 tsp. vanilla

1/2 c. light brown sugar

2 tbsp. milk

Red food coloring

Combine all ingredients into a pan except food coloring. Boil for 1 minute. Take off stove add enough food coloring to turn glaze red. Pour over warm cake. Turning the glaze red just makes it a little more Halloweeny.

Freshly made!
What a bloody mess...Yummy!

Another good October gift day, I can't get enough of the coloring sheets, got a cute little vampire head, some candies, a skeleton cup with candies, some cute Halloween socks and the kitty pumpkin cart.

While making this post I happen to be watching the movie Casper, I love it!
