A Nightmare on Elm Street. Def. one of my all time favorites and one of my very first horror movies. When I was really young one of my sisters brought this home to watch with my family after I went to bed. I fought like hell to be able to stay up and watch it. They gave in and I so feel in-love with it, yes I had nightmares but I was like 4 or 5. Since than I have loved horror and love all of the Nightmare movies. Who doesn't love Freddy Krueger? This movie had a great writer/director and a great cast. It is about this girl Nancy who is having nightmares about a frightening, badly-burned scared man who wears a glove with razor-sharp "finger knives". She soon discovers that her friends are having dreams about this man as well. When the kids begin to die, Nancy realizes that she must stay awake to survive. Uncovering the secret identity of the dream killer and his connection with the children of Elm Street. Children paying for their parents mistakes. She now must find away to defeat him and not end up dead.
