Movies!

Well I have been falling behind again, we have been so busy and when we aren't busy I wasn't feeling very well. I decided I needed to do a little movie update. We haven't actually been watching as much as we usually do especially since we are so close to Halloween. But it seems between being busy, playing video games and being on a Buffy kick our horror movie collection has been on a break but I think we are going to get back into the swing of things this week. Here are a few we have watched in the past few weeks.

I think the latest movie we have watched as of lately was Crank 2: High Voltage. I am so glad we did. We try to stick to horror movies this close to Halloween but I rented it so we decided to watch. It was just stupid funny action all over the place. I mean it is way over done, pornographic in some ways just crazy amazing. I loved the first one and everyone kept telling me this one wasn't so good but I think it was great. It is about this guy who had his heart stole, now has an artificial heart and has to get his back. Also I love Jason Statham, he is amazing and really fits the character. I give this a 10, watch it you'll never stop laughing!

On 9-9-09 we decided to watch The Omen remake. We choose the remake because we just watched the original not that long ago. I love the remake though. I am not a huge fan of horror remakes as you know but this one is really well done and has an amazing cast. I def. give this one a 10. There is nothing that I dislike about it at all. It actually has a few scenes that just amaze me. We have only watched this one a few times, on 6-6-06 Brownlog took the day off work just so we could go see it on opening day. Such a good movie and the kid is just as creepy as the original one. I would explain it but I am sure most of you have seen it or at least know what it is about. Def. see the remake if you haven't.

We checked out The Burning from 1981 on Fear Net a little while ago. Reading what it was about made me want to watch it so bad. After watching it I just wasn't all that impressed. I mean it is not the worse movie I have seen just not what I though it would be. It is just like any other horror movie that takes place at summer camp just not as good. I found it to be really boring and the acting was so bad in a bad way. Not even the cheese could save it. I give it like a 6 probley not even sure about that yet. Check it out you may like it, I just didn't.

A movie we watched a few weeks ago was Black Sabbath. I though I had seen it before but I hadn't. For the most part it was amazing. It has these 3 short stories. All 3 were really good, but I loved the first one. I have not had anything in a horror movie that has freaked me out since I was really little. The dead old lady in the first story totally freaks me out. She is like the biggest creep ever. But I so love her at that same time. Brownlog makes the face all the time, he is almost as big of a creep has she is but I love him anyways. I def. give this move a 10, check it out on Hulu. Def. a classic and I'm glad I have finally seen it.
