April Movies!

Well so far in April I have watched April Fool's Day, Duh!. Every holiday or special even deserves a horror movie and it is a good one at that. Not a big fan of the remake so much, bad cast, bad acting and not a good story line. But the original is amazing. Critters 2 was a must for Easter, another great holiday themed horror movie. Now for the Horrorfest III movies. All in all the movies were good. There were a few great and a few ok ones. Voices gets a 10 out of 10, amazing. From Within gets about an 8 out of 10, I love when movies end badly. Perkins 14 gets about a 7 out of 10, my boyfriend would probley disagree with that though he didn't really like it. Slaughter was alright maybe a 6 out of 10 kinda slow. Autopsy was awesome I'd go with a 10 out of 10, this one is probley my favorite. Dying Breed is pretty good, 7.8 out of 10 again kinda slow. Butterfly Effect 3 was way better then I though it would be 8 out of 10. The Broken was really good as well 9 out of 10. So yes Horrorfest was pretty good. Not as good as the first year but better then the second. I love the idea of Horrorfest. I Just watched Shuttle the other day, amazing. Finally a new horror movie that isn't a remake. Casting was good, acting was good and the story line was great. I love this one and I'm thinking everyone should watch it, go watch it. Another new one everyone should see is Splinter. I really enjoyed this one a lot. I loved the cast and the idea of the story. I even found myself loving the jerk out of the characters. So I think both Shuttle and Splinter deserve a 10 out of 10. I also enjoyed the remake of The Day The Earth Stood Still, I'm kinda getting sick of all the horror and sci-fi remakes but its a good one. Out Of The Dark is one I watched off Fear Net that I had never seen and it was awesome. We also watched Van Helsing on the full moon night, full moons = werewolf movies. But yeah so far April has been a good month for movies, but it's not over yet. Enjoy!!!
